Perfectly sized to keep by your desk, or simply for those who indulge less frequently, and so maintain only a relatively modest collection, these Savoy humidors hardly measure more than the size of a small stack of books, yet feature their own built-in humidifiers and hygrometers, which are magnetically mounted to the inside of the lid. Construction is of solid, tightly-joined cedar, with brass hardware and highly polished, genuine veneer exteriors.
This example is the Beetlewood, which is paneled in... we're not entirely sure. Beetle wood - spelled as two words, typically refers to a blue-tinted pine which has succumbed to a certain beetle-borne fungus, which is what turns it a bluish hue. This is most definitely not blue, however, being instead a very warm bengal orange, while the grain pattern appears quite similar to lacewood.
