It's rather odd that we're just now introducing Obsidian pipe stem oil to the Smokingpipes website - odd, that is, because Bill and Tom in our estate restoration department (read: attic) having been using the stuff for quite some time. Obsidian pipe stem oil doesn't simply lend vulcanite and cumberland a nice shine - though it does do that, too - applying it after polishing off oxidation also helps prevent any new oxidation from occurring.
I have 2000 plus pipes, 1700 are vulcanite bits, I have battle this problem for years, until now.
I use it every time I smoke a pipe, it keeps bits like new.
Bought 6 bottles in reserve, what a incredible product.
