A Tour of the Peterson Pipe FactoryAs many of you may know (or perhaps all of you, as far as I know) Sykes and Alyson recently adventured to Ireland in order to shake hands with the lovable folks at Peterson of Dublin. Just as we were receiving our shipment of Peterson’s St. Patrick’s Day pipes here at Smokingpipes.com, the two were touring the Peterson factory, snapping pictures and shooting video.
I celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by spending the evening whipping up this rather ‘decontextualized’, though no less engaging, web featurette on the best Irish pipe company in history.

I love watching pipes being made. I didn't see any sandblasting going on there, though, which isn't surprising since they put out so few sandblasted pipes. But they do make them. If fact, one of your competitor's has new sandblasted system pipes available, but I haven't seen them anywhere else. Any possibility you guys would get some?

Yep, we're getting some of the blasted Systems in. It might be awhile before we receive the shipment that they're in, though.

That was so cool, Ted (and Sykes and Alyson) Make me even happier that I purchased my first Peterson just this morning. Fun to see where it's coming from.
