This unique piece of work from Preben Holm has the plateau curving underneight the bowl like the rocker arms of a hobby horse (although, it does sit more firmly than you'd expect). The stylized bowl looks like a tree stump with a large split in the middle. The overall shape tugs at the imagination, like some ornate saddle for riding a caterpillar from Oz or a snail with a broken throne in place of its shell. The down-swept flame grain is beautiful.
