S. Bang pipes are of that sort so distinctive that they're hard not to recognize - or likewise not to recognize it when someone is borrowing from their stylistic repertoire. Borrowing from S. Bang is something which, of course, many artisans do, and for good reason; Per and Ulf make some of the best, and most charming Danish pieces around. Here we have a fine, precise, and sturdily-proportioned S. Bang Pot, presenting precisely the sort of compact, robust, yet refined shaping they are known for.
