While Danish design might, at its most basic, be summed as defined by seamless flow and smooth gesture, the details of an individual pipe's shaping cues can range from the architectural to the very organic. In the case of this richly flame-grained Tonni Nielsen briar, it's very much the latter. The use of a single knuckle of bamboo is an interesting touch, producing the look of a military mount, although said bamboo actually serves as the stem's base instead.
