This Lovely Ilsted originally had a yellowish acrylic stem. How do I know this? Because we recently picked this pipe up and notice later that it had a pin hole in the stem (d'oh!). Because it was already ours, I took it up to the estate restoration guys and they promptly removed the original tenon and found a vulcanite stem to put it in. Bill did a fine job sanding it down close to the silver, and now we can offer this pipe for sale you to (we already reduced the price for the stem issue). It's a fine Ilsted classic shape that has rich grain all around the bowl.
