Jess Chonowitsch is a living legend. When it comes to managing grain and producing fine finishes, he's great, but what really has made him stand out and placed him amongst the select few considered true masters of the Danish style is eye for design and his ability to make those shapes a reality. Flow of line, balance of proportions, and elegance of form are his forte, and it's no coincidence that a significant chunk of Stanwell's most popular and longest-lived designs have been those he drew up. But there's nothing quite like the real thing; a unique, individually-designed briar shaped by the man himself. And that is, of course, just what we have here.
