Danish Estates: W.O. Larsen Smooth Bent Dublin (Straight Grain) (F)

Product Number: 004-001-5695

While Stanwell, who eventually bought out the by-then ailing W.O. Larsen brand, has an impressive tradition of employing some of the most skilled Danish artisans around to design their shapes, Larsen, though no longer extant, can boast of having had many of them actually shaping pipes at one time or another. Sixten Ivarsson, Poul Rasmussen, Chonowitsch, Knudsen, and others spent time as pipemakers for this marque, whether in the original set-up in the basement of Ole Larsen's Copenhagen tobacco store, or the later and better-equipped workshop located in Larsen's old cigar factory.
