Peter's blowfish shapes have always been popular. Peter's more symmetrical blowfish are something of a departure from the original idea of the shape, yet it's a wonderfully charming composition, very much within Peter's oeuvre. With a single clear beveled ridge, from which the shank grows at the bottom of the bowl, it's a very clean lined version of the shape. This one features more subtle asymmetry than we usually see in Heeschen's blowfish shapes, with the central panel curving slightly to the left. Nice birdseye covers both side panels, with excellent cross grain on the central panel between.
