Danish Estates: Ben Wade Tawny Freehand
Product Number: 004-001-6518
Somehow, despite my avid interest in, and collecting of, Danish Freehands from the mid 70s through early 80s, I missed encountering the Ben Wade Tawny series altogether. The stain and general attitude of the bowl are in line with many of the other Wade pipes, likewise, the beveling of an otherwise close to architectural shank. The grain might be a tad above average (if not towering) compared to your typical BW. Wish I had something more useful to pass on to ya.
