When it comes to Svend Axel Celius' Chess line of pipes (arguably the most 'important' of the three different lines the maker produced regularly) it goes: Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen, then King. Makes sense, yes? So sure, this piece might not show off the most awesomemest grain, and sure it's got a couple of pits, but this pipe is less about such cosmetic frills and more about killer shape. Sharp angles, tight tapers, clean lines. I think I might have just talked myself into my next pipe.
