About This Pipe
To say that Poul Ilsted is the chunkier, more round, and slightly larger version of Peter Heeschen might not make sense, but looking at their pipes side by side, it would. When Ilsted isn't making signature panels on bulldogs, he can often be found carving wonderfully fluid examples of dublin variations. The chunkiness of the briar allows for more exposure of the lovely grain mottled within, and makes it extremely hand friendly.
