This pipe has a replacement stem, and it does have the Barling logo on it (albeit heavily buffed). It just so happens that are are a lot of Barling stems floating around, so finding one to put on a pipe isn't all that difficult. The slot and face of the tenon aren't as clean as an original stems but this looks better than a stem made from orange plastic. This pipe has been through some use; no doubt, but it's still a Barling.
