Comoy's made a lot of beautiful pipes and many are often passed over in the search for Blue Ribands, which were nearly their highest grade with stunning contrast stains. Looking at this beautifully cut (and grained) piece, I begin to wonder why it is not a Blue Riband, but understand that Blue Ribands are only straight grain, so this wonderfully angled-grain piece is a Tradition.
