Blakemar Briars is an English brand that got its start in the 1880s by Thomas Martin, who first began carving meerschaum, then worked with Loewes of London before opening an shop in his village home of Blakesley. Passing the factory down to his son, who passed it down to his nephew, Blakemar Briars aren't heard of much today, though the pipes are beautiful classics true to their roots.
