English Estates: Dunhill Shilling Grain Billiard (Two Star) (1991)
Product Number: 004-002-7198
Well, here's a briar with a bit of mystery about it. First of all, the Shilling didn't come about until either 1995 or 1996 (depending on who you ask), and supposedly either replaced the Ring Grain grade completely, or was reserved for Ring Grain-grade sandblasts in a Cumberland finish. This Dunhill, as you can see, features the Shell Briar finish, and bears a 1991 date. It also sports two stars (not asterisks, but actual five-pointed stars), which is a further confusion: it's the only Two Star Shilling we've ever had our hands on.
