English Estates: Comoy's Grand Slam Apple (U.S. Pat) (490) (1930s)

Product Number: 004-002-7300

Old Comoys have a loyal following of collectors, and suffice to say with somewhere between 73 and 84 years under its belt, this is one very well-aged Comoy indeed. It does show a bit of wear and tear, though overall it remains in better condition than a lot of pipes we come across that are half this age - or a quarter, for that matter. I'm particularly surprised the finish, excepting around the top and inside of the rim, made it this far through the decades quite intact. The original stem, stinger and all, fared even better, with only a single light tooth mark on the underside of the bit.
