I'm not sure what, exactly, the "Gilt Edge" line designated. Of those we've seen, the shapes have been solid classics, the finishes smooth and reserved - but that's not exactly rare in the English school. Some have had silver, some have not; some have had cumberland stems, some have not. The most conspicuous commonality is, quite simply, their un-commonality. In over a decade we've only turned up seven of them, counting this one.
