The James Upshall grading system is pretty straightforward. The company starts with the "Root" grades which are lettered with an "S", "A" and "P", the latter having slightly straighter grain. This Upshall is graded as a 'P', would weigh in as at least an Ashton 'LX', and boasts a grain that might make more than a few DR** run for cover. As a bonus, this marvelous saddle Billiard sports a machined silver band, and silver is a right rare critter to spot on an Upshall.
