English Estates: Dunhill Shell Briar (HT) (4) (1985)

Product Number: 004-002-7517

Dunhill Hand-Turned designs are often, albeit not strictly always, something a little different from both the standard chart shapes and even the marque's more unusual, semi-regularly produced combinations. In this case, we have something that appears to have started out based on a big straight Dublin, but that was then given both a freehand sloping rim and an extra-broad chamber. From a practical standpoint, the result is most readily compared to a very wide Pot shape, but aesthetically, it's thoroughly unique.
