As large as this Oom Paul may be, the full bend gives it the kind of balance you can just dangle from your jaw with ease. This leaves something of quandary as to just why, then someone clenched it so hard as to require the stem to be patched. Perhaps it was stress; the stress of battling a crocodile, while wrestling to regain control of a plunging cargo plane (the crocodile, presumably, having been part of the cargo, and the pilots having bailed out when it broke loose). This seems a reasonable speculation, for what better pipe-shape is there for a man inclined towards such unusual adventures, than the Oom Paul, after all?
