Well, this is an odd one. Granted, it is a Quaint, and therefore expected to be an outlier by nature, and yet even by Quaint standards this long, sinuous, silver-mounted jaw-hanger is out there. Most Quaints, after all, at least suggest origins as a variation on some standard Dunhill shape or another; this dramatic number does not. According to our archives, we've only seen it a handful of times before. A bit of Google searching turns up a few more examples, all but one on the other side of the Atlantic, and the last apparently in Cuba of all places. It would appear we were fortunate to wind up with the few that have previously passed through our hands.
Aside from being an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-clench, and quite capacious design by itself, if you happen to already own, or can track down an example of it's even more unusual Apple-bowled sibling, the pair would make for an impressive highlight of any collection.
