Charatan's Make Special Dublin (461 X) (Lane-Era)

Product Number: 004-002-8090

Though I've now seen this Caratan shape enough times to recognize it readily, the first time around it was something of a surprise. With its thick transition and shank, aggressive stance of the bowl, and very streamlined form, I had assumed it was the work of a post-2000 artisan, and likely an American one. I never would have thought it was actually from an old English mark, and a shape that had been around for decades at that.
