Dunhill 'Inner Tube' Patent (106) (A.) (1925)

Product Number: 004-002-8368

In 1925, after a year playing in Fletcher Henderson's New York-based band, Louis Armstrong returned to Chicago to record his first solo recordings, which would become some of the most important of his career. Five years after Prohibition went into effect in the United States, citizens could purchase Thompson submachine guns for about half of the cost of a Ford Automobile. F. Scott Fitzgerald publishes The Great Gatsby, and in Tennessee, high school biology teacher, John T. Scopes, is found guilty of teaching Darwin's theory of evolution and fined one-hundred dollars.

There is something indescribably special about owning and smoking a piece of history. It's not everyday that an Inner Tube Patent Dunhill turns up in this great of a condition. To imagine all of the persons that lived and events that took place during the year this pipe was born will take quite a few bowlfuls.
