English Estates: Ashton Pebble Grain Poker (ELX) (1996)

Product Number: 004-002-6258

While a Poker shape will always sit solidly, Cherrywoods often don't. The real difference between the shapes is the angle of the shank; Pokers have shanks parallel with the surface they're sitting on while Cherrywoods have shanks cut up at an angle. When this ELX piece was turned, there was plenty of briar surrounding the chamber to add weight to keep its base solidly planted. If this falls over while sitting on your table, you probably need to adjust one of the legs.
