About This Pipe
There are quite a few variations of Tanshell pipes. Some people don't like them because they can look dirty after smoking and handling, but this is only on pipes that are blasted or rusticated and completely Virgin (no sort of finish at all besides wax - and some of them don't even have wax). Dunhill applies a finish to their Tanshell pipes so you can enjoy their color without worrying about it getting dirty. However; a pipe that has a finish like this will still grow over time with a lovely patina with regular smoking.
