This is a simple rendition of the classic straight Billiard, though there is a subtle forward-shift to the bowl as it travels upward, lending a subtle touch of dynamism to the standard English classic form. The walnut finish is well-aged, but there's still enough contrast to spot a quite lovely freckling of birdseye on either flank.
