About This Pipe
The right side of this bowl has a little spot of grain that blasts out in all directions as if it were a lake at ground-zero of a meteorite impact. I love when a blast can have such movement as well as plenty of definition. Curiously enough, most Ashton pipes contained stain inside the bowl (like the outside), but this pipe has a greenish stain in the chamber and mortise while the exterior is clearly lightly colored.
