About This Pipe
James Upshall is one of the few old English companies to play with shank proportion. While Dunhill usually stuck to pencil or only slightly wider shanks, Upshall really beefed up the diameter. This Lovat has a longer stem than the classic proportions call for, but is very pleasing in overall design.
