About This Pipe
As was common for many Charatan pipes, this Dublin does not sport natural plateau on the rim, but, instead, someone at the factory rusticated the texture. A freehand Dublin shape is one of the more common styles for a Charatan, partly because they realize such a tapered shape will better show off grain. Who can blame them? This is a very nice example.
