There are tons of great pipes made with tapered stems, but I generally prefer a nice saddle on a lot of classics. This bent Billiard would look smashing with either stem, but the saddle acts as a balance between the two materials and allows for a wonderful transition of shape and form.

Condition: 4/5 Small scratches on the rim, charring in the bowl, and some out of rounding in the bottom of the chamber near the airway. The stem has been heavily buffed, exposing a line of the airway, and the button is slightly twisted.
