Deep-chambered and mounted in sterling silver, this Design Berlin is a pretty handsome piece, despite bearing several fills. Briars like this were certainly a huge improvement over the basket pipes the firm produced exclusively previous to pipe designer/maker Lothar Schirwitz coming on board in 1954.
