Irish Estates: Peterson Killarney Natural (263) (Modified P-Lip) (1945-1947)
Product Number: 004-004-2414
This Peterson "263", literally the first of its kind to enter our archives, is different from its cousin, the "264" (the only other Canadian Peterson produces), in that the shank is packed with a little bit more briar, and tapers slightly, then completed with an abbreviated, snub stem. Made between 1945 and 1947, aficionado's of the Peterson Pipe know this is a pre-republic pipe, often considered to be one of the "holy grails" of the brand, and as you might expect, "grails" don't last too long on this site.
