Although this unconventional take on the quarter-bent Bulldog would seem quite a departure for many pipe makers, for Peterson, it's a classic. While its stout and sturdy proportions boast a certain masculine aesthetic, it still communicates a sense of dynamism in its forward yearning bowl and streamlined trailing of the shank and stem.
Inspired by the stories and characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, we've seen several of these Hudson shapes over the years; however, we've only come across a handful in this thick rusticated finish. Pair that natural gnarly texture with an extra broad, diamond-shaped sterling silver accent, and you're left with one handsome composition worthy of the Sherlock name.
