this is a pretty novel one. While L'Anatra does produce a lot of creative designs, they are typically recognizable nods signature themes - variations on uniquely L'Anatra, signature approaches, as it were. This low-slung freehand design, however, is singular. The smooth lines, the balance, the sense of gesture, they're all "L'Anatra", but the shape is otherwise very, very different from any other pipe I've seen from them - a curious sort of Dublin/Pot bowl, mounted onto an escutcheon, and followed up by a sleek, subtly curved transition, shank, and stem that seem to hint that their inspiration may have come from the (much more drastically curved) Hawkbill.
