The laundry list of different stampings involved in Ser Jacapos of this particularly rare pedigree (Gem series nomenclature, Gem series grade, Fiammata grade, etc.) can make using our archive's search engine to research an appropriate price difficult. Dalla Gemmas are, by definition, select, low-production briars, constituting the very best to come out of the Ser Jacopo workshop during any given year. Rubino indicates the penultimate grade within the series, and Fiammata indicates, as you can see, particularly spectacular grain. But the greatest rarity of them all is the presence of the late, great founder of the Pesaro school's own name. And, admittedly, we appear to have under-priced this one. In short, if you've ever sought out a Ser Jacopo made by Giancarlo Guidi himself, well, it may very well be that you'll never see another opportunity like this.
