After looking this pipe over, our senior copywriter (Eric) had a lot of positive things to say about this Canadian from Ser Jacopo, most of which I cannot repeat because much of his praise was emphasized with colorful four-letter phrasing. But all that really tells you is that he was quite smitten. The first thing that caught his eye was the pipe's graceful form, seen in little subtleties like the slightly curved stem, and in its decidedly English shaping, altered only by the generosity of Italian proportioning in the bowl and chamber. He went on to express his affinity for the well-defined sandblast, murmuring to himself, "If this were a Dunhill they would have called it a 'Shilling' and charged [redacted] for it", finishing the sentiment with "and at a $145.00... whoever ever buys this pipe is getting a very [redacted] great deal". Again, there was a lot more swearing in there than I'm allowed to write, but he did grow up in New Jersey.
