The shape here is your textbook extra-tall, extra-firm Castello rendition of the straight Bulldog. The grain, however, is not so much "grain" as "GRAIN". Every now and then you run across a small, compact briar that seems absolutely stuffed with grain. In this case, it's a big, towering briar that's absolutely stuffed with grain. The result is, suffice to say, a whole lot
of grain, and Castello's namesake contrast finish makes sure you can't miss a single stroke or birdseye of it.
