New!  Sale!  Italian Estates: Savinelli Nonpareil Sandlasted (9606)

Product Number: 004-006-9379

When Savinelli decided to create more affordable pipes in the 1980s, in order to produce more modestly priced pipes, and to take advantage of the gap which emerged for quality, but inexpensive briars, of course, it required sacrifices. One of them was that the Nonpareils switched from real horn, which, despite the material not being particularly expensive, requires quite a bit of work to "get it right". What took its place was horn-patterned acrylic for their mounts. Perhaps not appealing to some, but if you're a fan of acrylic use in pipes, as I am, you'll appreciate the beautifully smooth texture and olive green hue of the accent when paired and contrasted against the ruggedness of the sandblasted stummel.
