A rarity in the Smokingpipes archive, this is only the 2nd 'Classica' and the 2nd '7003' to come to us from Brebbia; this piece is a pretty standard, classical Lovat shape, not at all representing the Italian school, but almost chart perfect in the English. The lone "Argento" stamping, however, is completely foreign to us, "Argento" in Italian meaning silver, though obviously there is none to be found. If it had arrived with a sterling silver military mount, it would have made more sense, especially since it originates from the Gala Argento line, of which is included. So, especially rare and at an amazing price? Collectors would be wise not to pass this one up.
