Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo 'La Pipaccia' Smooth Cherrywood with Silver (07)
Product Number: 004-006-10206
The "La Pipaccia" series was based upon inspiration the late Giancarlo Guidi took from the pipes of sailors and fishermen he spotted around the port of Pesaro, thus the design's unusual even for the inventive Ser Jacopo marque. A particular tell-tale feature of these pipes is the common occurrence of more complex shank/accent/stem design, which I suspect may have to do with the original pipes that inspired them having been composite constructions of various hardwoods, meerschaum, and/or briar (as is often the case with pipes of unusual origins).
