About This Pipe
"G" stand for "Generous". OK, it really stands for "Grande", though I kind of like my interpretation as well. Rugged and unabashedly masculine, this stone-cold Castello classic shape 66, is generous indeed. Carlo Scotti's creations totally rewrote the "book" on high grade pipes in the late forties, and that book still serves as a rough template for the many scions (Caminetto, Ascorti, Radice) that eventually sprung forth. Still, there really is only one Castello, eh?
