About This Pipe
Even in a Tomato design, Paolo Becker can't help but find a way to work in his signature prow-like treatment of the heel. It does indeed work, though, the taper of the underside both allowing for a better display of the briar's ring grain, while also complementing the particularly fine proportions of the shank and transition.
