About This Pipe

Though the Castello Collection series was born with the company in 1947, it wasn't until 1960 that Carlo Scotti felt the need to honor pipes that carried exceptional straight grain with a "Fiammata" designation (heretofore, a Collection KKKK was as upgrade as the marque ran). The 54 that sits within the castle on the stamping indicates that this pipe was created in 2001. Absent "Greatline" (a stamp that began seeing use in the mid-seventies) as a precursor, you can count on a Collection Fiammata presenting a classic shape and this Northern Italian pot interpretation is a dandy.
