Japanese Estates: Smio Satou Smooth Bent Pot with Bamboo
Product Number: 004-007-0490
Fine, angel-hair flame grain makes for a natural complement to an elegantly diminutive design like this Satou bent Brandy, and as luck would have it the briar this piece was fashioned from happened to have plenty of just that. Little it may be, a short and light smoker that hang pretty easy in the jaw, but it's still not one of those overly dainty sorts that feels lost in hand - there's a fair amount of breadth to that borderline Pot of a bowl, enough to make for an easier grip and a more reassuring presence than many other similarly "featherweight" scale pipes out there.
