New!  Japanese Estates: Ichi Kitahara Smooth Bent Pot with Boxwood Ring (Unsmoked) (2012)

Product Number: 004-007-0539

This broad, squat, pleasingly plump (unsmoked!) Pot design displays quite a strong Danish influence, although Ichi's treatment of the shank and fine cumberland stem do introduce a bit of his own signature flare. Quite thick walled, it will no doubt offer a pleasingly mellow warmth in hand when smoked, and I'll admit that his playful inclusion of a boxwood accent that can be spun has had its intended effect - it really is hard not to absentmindedly fidget about with it.
