About This Pipe
From the top view, the rim is subtly shaped as an all seeing eye and features as nice of a field of birdseye as one could possibly ask for. The front view (much more than the sides) shows elements of the Danish classic shape. As you can see from Adrienne's excellent photographs, the straight grain of the bowl is superlative. The shank and bit have an arc, mount and execution that would identify them as Takeo-san's work from across a room.
