It's of unknown origin, and bears an unusual (lack of) grain. Plus, leaving the price tag on it is unlikely to impress anyone, but I have to say this is one of the more interesting briars in this estate batch. Frankly, I just really like the shape - an Oom Paul, but so tall, lean and smoothly shaped that the first thing it reminds me of are the old Tyroleans. Even the bit is unusual, sporting the narrow, more rounded style of button usually associated with stems from a hundred years ago. It doesn't hurt either that, functionally speaking, what you have here is a Stack-deep chamber stuck on a pipe that will hang from the jaw as light as a feather.
