The only stamping found on this stout straight Pot is "London Briar" upon the shank. What could it mean? Who harvests briar in London? Does it suggest the pipe was fashioned in London (pick a London, any London - their are quite a few of them out there), from briar? Was it meant to do just that: suggest
, but with the safety of withholding from stating, outright, "Made in London, England"? Well, let's not get all caught up on judging a girl just because she happened to come from questionable parentage. We don't get to choose who we come into this world related to, after all.
